Date & Time: Day 0, wake up time!
Warnings: Depends on how Nero reacts to Yotsuba waking him up like that...
Summary: Yotsuba wakes up. Incidentally, so does everyone else,

Weird stuff's always happening to Nero. And sometimes, okay, sure, he doesn't exactly mind it. Kinda cool to save the world. Kinda a pain in the ass, too, but he heals fast these days and he likes kicking ass. Always has. So it's not like he was complaining, or at least, when he was complaining, it's not like he was too pissed off. Had his moments. But he worked it out.

This is weird, but it's unfamiliar weird. Not like, demons to fight and Kyrie to save weird--that's regular weird. And his first instinct, when someone wakes him and there's jumping and shouting and the bed's sahking, is to do what he always does when he's being attacked.

Fight back. Fight better. Stay alive.

Not too much about him feels natural, but this instinct? Everyone knows it. Demon, human, animal, it doesn't matter. Everybody wants to win, right? Nobody wants to die.

"GREEAHHHH!!!!"

Not his finest warcry, but he's tired and confused and there's definitely a gun and he's not paying attention to size, to the tone of the voice, to anything but get it off

"Daaaaaaaaah!" Yotsuba cried out, falling back. Luckily her quick fall backward as well as her small size seemed to be keeping her out of harm's way for the moment, but it wouldn't for long, not if she could help it! (Unfortunately for Yotsuba, she had little concept of real danger.)

She rolled now to the back of the bed and stood up quick, 'firing' off her water gun in every direction, which probably meant the covers were started to get quite soaked by now.

"Stupid alien! Give back Daddy or I'll make you cry!"

"The hell--"

What is this bullshit comes to mind, but his instincts are good enough that when he hears a kid talking, he stops fighting. Especially 'cause nothing's gone for his throat yet, and groggy as he is, as fast as his heart's pounding, he can't sense it--that thing that dogs his every freakin' move. Danger.

"Huh?"

So what the hell tried to kill him, then? And who the hell is this green haired kid? "What're you talking about?"

Yotsuba paused in her assault. She was almost out of water anyway, and somehow she had ended up wetter than her opponent. Hah! It must have used some kind of alien power to send her water attacks back at her! Was her gun ineffective?! (Of course, she would never blame her own frantic shooting for this.)

"You're an alien," Yotsuba began by way of explanation, "And you took Daddy. So give him back. Or you'll cry!" She pointed her water gun at him again. Ah, wait, didn't the gun not work on the alien? No, she would make it work! She would just have to defeat the alien with effort and guts!

But first, because she was so nice, she would let the alien plead for its life.
