Krycek couldn't quite describe how he was feeling. That was to say, his feelings ranged violently from one extreme to the next. He had been initially confused to wake up in this new setting, then angry, then panicked, then angry once more. Rational thought seemed to be escaping him as he mused dishearteningly over the fact that he now appeared to be overcome with a deep sorrow, perhaps at the notion that he wouldn't find the woman who called herself "Aerith" and thereby get left behind by the "caravan".

Of course, he didn't need her to locate it. Still, every second he spent looking for a "big tree" made him feel more like crying. This wasn't like him. This was so much so not like him, he actually did start crying a bit at the thought ( ... )

It had been some time since Aerith had regained consciousness, and after messaging a couple of people and finding her way around the strange gizmo that she'd been left with a slight hint of boredom was setting in. She wasn't the sort of girl who had a great deal of patience, as she liked attention and affection, she hated being alone and with nothing to occupy herself with ( ... )

A voice? Krycek started, not expecting to hear one. His situation hit him somewhat suddenly as well and an anger at being heard crying began to replace his sorrow. He gritted his teeth. Who was calling to him?

Did she think he was less of a man for crying? Why had he been crying, anyhow? Well, she better not be judging him!

"Who's there?" He spat, turning towards the source of the sound. "Tell me who you are!"

That voice sounded a little familiar and it dawned on Aerith that this was that angry young man she'd been talking to over that funny little gizmo earlier. Despite his obvious aggression she didn't feel at all intimidated by this angry character and Aerith walked around to meet him, face to face.

She was smiling gently, her expression warm and friendly despite his coldness. Aerith was an unusually pretty girl, very feminine and slender, the soft pinks and reds of her clothing complimented her pale skin and vivid green eyes.

"Well hello to you too," she said with mock offense in her tone "I'm Aerith and I think you're the one I spoke to earlier, aren't you? The angry man." Of course it was him, he sounded the same and this was the sort of reaction she was expecting from her greeting him. Although those tears earlier, they concerned Aerith. What could he have been crying about? Did he act so angry because he was hurt? Or afraid?
