Summary: Aerith finds herself under the cherry tree, taken from her home world mere moments before Sephiroth murdered her. She's very much alive, but also very confused about her sudden move!
When Aerith had been in the
City of the Ancients it had been winter time, the surrounding buildings had been carved from ice and snow and shells, beautifully sculpted mother of pearl twisted into conical shapes and turned into houses. It had been a magical place for her, filled with a past she'd only dreamed of learning about.
Moments before her destined death however, she had been pulled to another, far away land. She woke gently, as if from a pleasant afternoon nap, curled up under a large, fine tree. As her eyes slowly opened she glanced up at the fine branches above her head, splitting and dividing into more little sub-branches, some of them even had little dark green buds that seemed so eager to burst to life as soon as Spring showed itself. The air was a little warmer than it had been in the Forgotten City and it felt pleasant against her skin and sweet as she breathed it in. Although Aerith did not recognise this place there was a strange sense of calmness to it. She felt very much at ease here and, as she regained her senses completely, she looked around where she had been laying to see all of her possessions as well as something new. It looked a little like her PHS, but maybe twice as large.
"What's this?" She whispered, picking up the strange, rectangular device. It definitely had some weight to it and after prodding and touching it she was prompted to follow a series of instructions, and once she seemed to be registered she began to play with the idea of
answering some people's entries and looking at
any records of other people here. "Well this is handy..." she said to herself "I guess it's for me since it was left near me." she added, deciding there and then that it was definitely for her and that she was definitely to keep it.
