[Don't ask how she's gone and done it (default skill: walljump for the win) but Amaterasu has taken to relaxing in the Alchemy district on one of the building's roofs. More specifically: the Weapon Shop. It wasn't really the ideal place to sit and people watch, as it was a distance away from the warp point, but there were still people coming and

[there is one young man in the crowd standing just off the road. The dark color of his cape coupled by the color of the perpetual Twilight of Mac Anu would make him hard to see... But for the mask he was wearing (though, in all honesty, it looked more like a helmet than anything)]

[as he looks up at the sudden movement, his mask catches and reflects the light of the sun, giving away his position]

[The sun's reflection off of...well, off of something does not go by unnoticed in the least. It gets Amaterasu's ears to fly forward in an alert position and her tail ceases its lazy sway beneath her outfit. Her feet also seem to cease in movement, the sound of wood against the wall no longer in the air.]

Hmm?

[She leans forward, squinting her eyes in the direction of the reflection. There was someone there even though it was a bit hard to make whoever they may be out. If not for that thing they were wearing, blending in would be a breeze. But Amaterasu grins a little because someone had taken to acknowledging her presence.

And while playful mischief may be the first thing to cross her mind (jump down and give this person a surprise? oh, yes, it sounded fun indeed) she just raises a hand and waves in greeting instead.]

[to be honest, her kicking sounded only slightly different from the footsteps on the street below (how Suzaku could even hear the different is a question better left unasked). He watches her quietly before pushing away from the wall to make his way towards where Ammy was sitting... or at least, the location below]

[standing a little to the right of where she was sitting, he tilts his head up to look at her properly. Any expression he wears is hidden by the mask, but there are subtle clues in his body posture;

What was she doing up there?]

...oops, sorry about that.

[Where he is tilting his head upward, she is bowing hers in a better attempt at seeing this masked individual. It was an interesting costume, Amaterasu had to admit that, and something that she had not seen anyone else wearing in this world. And if that was the case then that meant he was one of those who had been brought to this strange place, didn't it?

And he must have reached that "level 20" thing.

Offering a small shrug of her shoulders to the silently posed question, Amaterasu's grin turns into a gentle smile despite the bored look that flashes in her eyes.

What am I doing up here? she quietly, almost teasingly repeats through expressions alone. People watching.]

[Ah, now that was a familiar face X was happy to see. He gives a slight whistle to get the woman's attention.]

[Amaterasu glances down towards the ground, catching sight of a familiar figure amongst the crowd and a smile forms its way upon her previously calm yet still bored face. Well, now, here was someone she had not seen or spoken to in awhile.

She raises a hand and offers him a small wave in greeting.]

[X returns the wave, coming over so that he wasn't obscured by the rest of the people, and craning his neck up to look at Amaterasu.]

Comfortable?

[Her smiles widens at the questions as she leans forward, fingers curling against the ledge of the roof and she gives a nod to X. Being up high like this, with the evening breeze and smell of the ocean, was calming enough on its own.

There's a brief pause in her actions before she makes a soft noise down at him. It had been awhile and the way she stares is obvious as to what she wants to ask: How have you been?]

[ It was difficult to miss such a bright white mark on the subdued hues of the sunset around town, and Gauche was looking up at her while shielding his eyes, smiling. He'd been on his way to the special shop by the smaller fountain in town to purchase some more food items, and to rest a bit. It was a good deal darker in this part of town anyway, which was easier on his eyes.

But he could make a pit stop for a friend. ]

Miss Amaterasu, what are you doing up there?

[She had just been thinking of leaving the rooftop, maybe head down towards the docks and seeing if, now that she had reached the appropriate 'level' of getting her weapons back, that her powers had returned. Amaterasu honestly felt bare without them. They were her source of strength and without them - ]

Ah?

[Gauche's question pulls her from her thoughts and she glances down at him, her face suddenly brightening up as she smiles down at him. Despite the distance between them the way she look past him and to the NPCs and setting sun before returning to look at him says it all: 'People watching.']

[ He never could quite place the similarities between Ammy and Roda, but he thinks he understands what she meant. He motions for her to come down and points at the shop, not one for raising his voice. Lunch was on him if she planned on sticking around in town for a while. ]

[Oh, Gauche, why so good to her? It's hard for her to pass up a free lunch offer - doubly so if it's from a friend. She makes a motion that says she'll be down in a moment.

Stretching, the sound of several pop-pop-POP! catch her attention and cause her ears to fold back against her head. But she does her best to pay them no mind and gathers her her getas up into her hand; pushing off from where she sits the leap from roof to ground isn't as graceful as it could have been, since these limbs are still awkward to work with, but a leap is a leap when you're really not thinking of where you're going to land.

...and Gauche is relatively lucky that her landing causes her to touch the ground rather than up and flopping on him.]
