This is a very good time to ask for movie recommendations. There is such an ignorance in this topic I beg to be corrected. Please, I would like to hear your opinion about suitable choices for a possible outgoing.

What kind of movies do you like?

I haven't watched many to know which genres I would prefer. I have a low number of experiences to be trusted in my options. I would exclude anything with vampires and wars for personal reasons.

Well if you like classics, there's The Count of Montecristo. I always liked the '34 version best. Or Meet Me in St. Louis, if you like musicals.

Or Terms of Endearment, if you want a mushy girl movie.

The Count of Montecristo is such a good choice. Is there any version that is faithful to the source? Ah, I enjoyed the theme of Dumas' classic.

Ah, yes, Miss Esther. My lack of experience would lead to bad choices.

Ignore the vast majority of so-called vampire films.

Ah, I believe I would do that. We have enough personal experience to appreciate fantasy.

The vast majority is worthless material in any case.

The title sounds funny. I would look-up the argument before choosing. Thank you for your help.
