Ooh, yet another luau fic for me. Thank you! I adored this, both Sawyer's excellent snark (I love the way you write him!) and the whole unsettling nature of Boone's visits. Even if, dammit, it's going to tear these two apart! I love Sawyer's reaction here, that he doesn't just push Jack away immediately but decides to make the most of their time together.

It feels like enough, more than either one has ever had.

*nods Just what I love about this pairing. Thank you for writing this for me!

I swear the fic I was going to write was funny, and much more Boone-centric. Lol. But never-the-less ;) I'm glad you liked and that the boys took over.

Thanks for the prompt, Queeny. It was definitely different and cool to throw someone else in there (especially sexy ghost someone elses).

I love my Sawyer snarky and I really wanted him to be there for Jack, to stay. That would probably make it that much worse for Jack later but - I guess it's not supposed to be easy.

I always love how you write these two, and the way you brought Boone's ghost into this highlights Jack's need to fix, and how that effects him. Lovely!

It always comes down to Jack's need to fix.

that's just the way sawyer would react - snarky, jealous, and still willing to accept and tolerae if it would do jack good.

And why oh why did it get all angsty at the end? i know you gave a fair warning, but still...

And when Jack turns, slips his arms around Sawyer like tonight is all they have, Sawyer sinks into his kiss like it's all he wants. It feels like enough, more than either one has ever had.

But if it had to be angsty, this is the best it could be :)

Lol. I LOVE Sawyer snarky and jealous. He's just the best.

Sorry for the angst! It snuck up on me too!

Most days it still surprises Sawyer. Jack by his side, their mutual support, two men intrinsically opposed finding common ground in passion, the need for release, an anchor in the solid weight of contrasting strengths.

You're made of awesome. I love this. Sawyer's voice is so spot-on, and Boone's appearances to Jack are interesting and eerie. The end is a punch to the gut, with that realization that Jack is being drawn away and that Jack and Sawyer seem headed apart. Oh, the angst! Right in the heart!

Lol. And here I thought I was made of clumsiness and crazy. *takes your suggestion instead*

Sorry about the angst. It snuck up on me and forced its way in. I had a totally different idea to make this funny, but you know how that goes. My ideas always get waylaid by a muse that doesn't really care what I want to write (just what she's going to).

Oh wow, that's heavy, but so well done, and all of it so feasible in the Lost world. Excellent work! ;-)

Thank you! This one totally turned angsty on me against my will.
