Save from devastation

Things are pretty crappy in the really real world. Not sure how much I'll be around this week. (I say, but then I hadn't planned on writing this morning either.)

Yeah I don't like the new layout. I think it's the purple. Or the blurred name. Or something. Gotta fix that.

I'm not sure what would make my day sweetie. But thanks just for the offer. My grandfather is really sick and I'm just worried. Sometimes it sucks to live away from home. It's that lack of control.

:) Thank you!

I love a good phone conversation (I seem to always be writing them.)

GA is like the only fandom where I post in the comms. Otherwise I just post in my journal. I'm blessed with a great flist that encourages my insanity (and I don't always want to subject the masses to that.)

So yes thanks! I'm glad you friended me. I'm going to continue to write lots of Gizzie. I promise we will survive this break any way we can.

Love this, like I do all your fics. You have a real talent for understanding the characters and fleshing them out so well. So sorry about your grand-dad. My grand-mom is very sick too, so I sort of know what you are feeling. Hope things get better, looking forward to other fics from you to help me get through missing George and Izzie on the show.

Thank you! George and Izzie are such great characters to tackle. I hope Season 4 makes all our Gizzie dreams come true (but until then, I guess fic is all we have)

And thanks for the empathy. My grandfather has always been very healthy, this is new and completely disconcerting. Hope both of our grandparents get better soon.

It's cowardly, he knows, to call his wife back and confess his sins. The worst kind of crappy to hide in the hills and leave the women in his life alone to deal with the fallout of his mistakes.

This made me laugh at first because of the picture in my head of George hiding in the hills (cause I know I would if I were married to Callie and did what George did lol I've always said that Izzie was going to need to move to a different state when Callie found out ;) )

But then I realized I was mad a George for running once again and leaving both women (especially Izzie) to deal with the aftermath. I would be pissed if I were Izzie if he unleashed Callie on me and then hid until it was over lol.

But then I read this...

He shouldn't, but George has to, kiss her again, pull her close. Convince himself that of everything he's lost in the recent past, the most important person is still here. And I was back to loving him again ( ... )

In my heart I know George is always going to do something stupid first. He's going to make the bad decision before figuring out the right one. I think we are going to hate him and love him and maybe hate him again a lot more before it's over. (And I just hope poor Izzie hangs in there)

Oh I'd totally be afraid of Callie too (She could do some damage)

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm so glad you like my fics. I love these characters. It's a huge compliment that you think it's like watching the show.

Really thanks! And of course you can friend me! Please do. :D I don't have enough GA friends.

Oh yeah. I completely agree. George will always stumble first before finding his footing. Its part of what makes him so lovable (and frustrating to a degree). And Izzie has always been the one to stand by him and give him a hand to keep him steady. Another part of what makes her so lovable and a big part of what makes G/I so great ( ... )

Oh are you from Alabamalama too? Awesome! (Even if you are the enemy ;) ) Roll damn Tide is right. I guess we will have to agree to disagree come football season. (Some of my bestest friends sport orange and blue though, really, won't hold it against you)
