I'm really, really glad you are still writing Gizzie fics. I miss George and Izzie so much and i believe you right them so well. Reading good fics like yours it like watching them on television.

Like everybody else, i loved the telephone conversation. Now i'm hoping for more :D

ooh, I like this a lot. It feels a little like a counterpart to the one you wrote where Izzie goes to see her mother. I mean that they're both having to get away and deal with their own lives--couply stuff can't always be solved together--and that drives them back to things that should be roots and maybe can't be anymore. I'm not explaining that very well, but I like it anyway. :)

Can I say I love the second section, for what it's getting at and for the writing. And I LOVE that you let George be selfish in this story. This is how people are, making phone calls instead of confronting people face to face, because that's hard. This feels so human and so George. You did a lovely job with this, dear.

I think you explain it perfectly babe. It does fit with the previous story. I think one of the biggest reasons I always shipped these two was because I love that best friend = home vibe. I think without each other they could both be a little lost.

:) I love you for loving the second section and what its getting at. George realizing what he wants and who he needs. And yes being such a big human about it (as George is so good at being). We all suck sometimes and can't do the right thing the right way.
