I liked the incorporation of things from BBC - Anderson (ha!) and Holmes being strangled with his scarf. :-)
The vampire theme was also very clever - everyone was reading "Dracula" at the time, and our heroine may have been the 19th century equivalent of a "Twihard". XD
The romance between Holmes and Watson is very well done - I like their attempts at being subtle, but I'm glad you mentioned that Lestrade knew, because he'd have to be very un-observant not to. :-)
a couple of little things:
the prospect on an interesting - of
one member of the cleaning personal - personnel
“are you going to allow him to desegregate the grave?” - desecrate
tools for the desegregation of the body - desecration

Yes, it works both ways! :-)

Yes, yes, exactly! I was thinking along those lines, though not of the modern analogy... *lol*
Of course the vampire theme had everything to do with the fact that I was reading Dracula myself and it practically suggested itself as an inspiration.

If Lestrade hadn't known, they would have had to be a lot more subtle. *nods*
As to the typos, thanks! These things happen even with a very observant beta (and in case you're wondering why there are not so much typos but blatant misspellings - I'm not a native speaker). Trouble is that I have no writing access for this community, so I'll have to bother the mods...
Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it! :-)

That's what we're here for, though. :)
Typos taken care of, in any case.
