I don't know this verse or these characters but you have created such a lovely, warm, clearly affectionate home for them here I feel as if they are quite familiar. The little Charlie Evans puzzle was very clever!

Thank you! It took me a little while to come up with that puzzle :) I'm glad you thought it worked!

You can find it on youtube with English subtitles, if you're curious. It's an odd mixture of comedy and melancholy. Worth a look!

What a lovely domestic scene, tinged with just the right melancholy for this canon.

This has really been a bumper year for My Dearly Beloved Detective fic :) I never thought I'd get to read as well as write one until you surprised me!

What a clever idea for a red herring in that note! And how poignant to see Holmes struggling to maintain that blurred line between "I love working with her" and "I love...her." It's always a pleasure seeing the two of them being excellent at what they do.

I was rather pleased with that red herring myself ;) I had to wrack my brains a little while to come up with it!

Clever, touching, and neatly written, and it drew me in although I know nothing about this 'verse but what's in your notes. Nicely done, that!
