I'd like to find the magical tattoo artist who knows you better than yourself... I've been considering tattoos but don't know what I'd want or where to start, so this is a fun window into the world from the practitioner's side. I found the AU quite plausible, and not just because I'm an Elementary fan (whose Sherlock is a tattoo artist in canon). I'll definitely look for the continuing story post-author-reveal.

Excellent fit between the AU elements and Sherlock canon. Love Sherlock only being interested in clients who offer him artistic freedom, especially carte blanche. Loved the backstories and the descriptions of 221B, the parlour and the designs. Very much looking forward to the continuation.
