Vidding? It has been failing quite a lot recently. I really feel that there's no way I can finish the Club Vivid vid by the deadline. Especially considering how I have NOT YET STARTED. Siiiigh. Meanwhile I've been listening to NONESTOP DEPECHE MODE all day, every day, for the past three days. (I just wanna live in that synth, y'all.) So guys.

I think my problem is that I adored Series 1 so much and unlike the majority of people involved and/or watching it, I didn't think it needed to be changed into this LoM clone. Because hurhur it still got shit reviews! Ugh. I liked it being separate and pwning LoM which I thought S1 was doing VERY well. If it ain't broke don't fix it, dammit.

If you ever feel like doing a more indepth review, I'd love to read it.
Maybe I'll do it a bit later when I see more of this season. For now if you're curious, I can link you to some S1 meta that I did involving The Theory. Here and here.

I think I understand what you're saying, and from the experiences I've had with other spin-offs generally what usually happens is they jump in with the first season all OMG WE'RE GONNA BE SO DIFFERENT LOOK AT US GO, which you either love or hate, you know? But then after a couple seasons they all basically revert to the original formula of the parent show. It literally happens every time. (Thinking of Angel, SGA, possibly A2A)I think the only time it didn't happen is with something like Xena where it stayed like it was and pwnd its predecessor continuously (in ratings and quality). IDK.

I still don't see why the Theory can't hold true. I mean there has to be a reason for them playing "The Lunatics Have Taken Over the Asylum" RIGHT after the nurses were all "She's dead for sure." It's these little things which I'm hoping are the key. Certainly I'd do that if I were writing the show. ;) I'd make the red herring really pungent so that the big reveal is really BIG. Unlike Sam's coma. Ahem.

Why is it that I feel it is my sacred duty to keep the Seeker fandom active? I just feel like I have to be there flailing and spreading the flail all the time! I love it but at the same time it also makes my arms super tired. :(
Yeh our fandom is so small and relatively quiet, esp since the hiatus. I have your sore arms too. It's a labour of love!

One sympathizes. My vidding muse seems to have done gone and died on me, for the time being. I was a little hive of ideas and now I'm just like: ":/".

I need to finish this vid I was going to submit for club vivid, but I don't know if I'll get it done by the deadline. Too much going on, really. And my beta seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

I think I'm letting go of submitting for premieres too. I could use another year or two of just puttering before submitting and frankly, club vivid and premieres have been square in the way of other projects I'd rather do.
