i read this against your advice and well, ummm, i didn't really care for it. i think you knew that beforehand, hence advising me not to read it.

the crossover aspect is interesting but nothing was developed any further than just what is, i.e. who the characters are. the one part i did find interesting was emma's observations of capt janeway's and seven's non-verbal communication and her reactions to it: "they are having a whole different type of conversation with just their eyes" and "watching them together feels like an invasion of their privacy", especially that "invasion of their privacy" comment.

the rest of the fic felt 'meh' to me, even emma & jenny re-uniting. for some reason or other, i thought they would be more conscious of their surroundings and be comparing notes and asking each other questions about their individualized experiences rather than just getting lost in each other. that would've been more congruent with their HaH characters, to me.

just my two cents. glad you gave it a shot anyway! :)
