Here's my entry for maxis_taste Dare #26
I like playing Romance Sims. I think they are fun and very nuanced and fun! However, I always though Gilbert Jacquet, as well as his mother Denise, were a tad creepy. (Jacquet Family). For that reason I never really gave them a chance and pretty much ignored them. It didn't help that I HATE running businesses and their Bakery is a NIGHTMARE.
Then inspiration struck. Gilbert Jacquet is Howard Wolowitz, and I love Howard!

I discovered Gilbert had blonde eyebrows and actually dyed his hair black.
I didn't change the outside of the house because I suck at landscaping, imo.
I decorated the first floor in the Art Noveau style. I figured Jacquet=French. I also figured Denise would like it.

I was a bit surprised that Gilbert's bedroom is actually a loft, so there's no door. That probably explains why he's a middle aged virgin.
Anyways, I had fun decorating it :D

I totally planned on playing them for awhile too, but time just got away from me. I want to do Dare #27 too, and I don't have time to play the Jacquet's and build a house for a Bin family by the end of the month
However, they are sitting there waiting for me and I had enough fun redecorating and making them over I do plan to tackle the Bakery and Gilbert's nonexistent love life some time in the future.
