This is a bit late, but it's an easy one. ;)
Your challenge for January is to pick your Least Favorite premade sim/family/household/lot and give it a second chance.
You are free to approach and share this dare any way you want, and the main rules are, in general terms, very simple.
- Do Not mistreat your sims. (details under cut)
- Do not change their facial feature (no surgery)
- Do not change/move/add/delete walls if you're building. (additional note about window and doors under cut)
There are few more details under the cut, so read them well, but the main of idea of this challenge is to have fun with sims we don't usually play with. (this is totally inspired by my current game in Riverblossom Hills. I've never liked the families there much, but I'm really enjoying playing them now.)
To do makeovers: You are welcome to use any style, and any kind of CC, just don't alter the sim's face, and try to keep eye/hair color, but you can play with the idea of color contacts and dyed hair if you think it would fit (hey, people does that all the time :P)
To play: As long as you don't intentionally kill or mistreat (you know, like putting them in a box and watch them starve to death or something like that) you're a free to play with your chosen sim/household any way you want. You can age up/down; move them out of their lot, or hood, and/or build them a new house; make them divorce/break up if you don't like their original partners; change their jobs; etc. You could also use them in any challenge that allows you to control the sim (Like an asylum or BC if he/she is your controllable) as long as the challenge is not directly intended to watch sims die, of course. You're encouraged to keep their main aspiration and personality, but you don't have to.
To Build: You can't change/move/add/delete walls inside or outside the house (including half walls, the only exception would be walls to cover stairs), but you can build separate buildings in the yard, like garage, green house or even a pool/guest house, as long they don't directly touch the main house. Also, you are allowed to replace door and windows, but they must remain relatively in the same spot. Meaning, you can move a door one or two tiles tiles to the side, and change a single window for double window, etc, but don't drastically alter the orientation of the room.
Jic, for lots you can choose any premade lot, or comm lot (occupied or not), but for sims, you must pick a controllable only. No townies/npc/etc.
Also, Sim 3 entries are welcome if anyone wants to try, however you must pick sims/lots that came originally with the game (preferably recurring families because they are better known by everyone, but you can pick other EA premade families/sims too)
You have all the rest of January February for this (or until the next dare is posted, during the first days of Feb.)
