"Cigarettes"
One of the ficlets I'm trying to write is kind of related to this poem called "Cigarettes." (click the inviting lj cut.) I actually thought of the opening scene of the fic first, and then it reminded me of the poem, so I reread said poem (which actually reads more like a paragraph) and it shaped the rest. Kind of.

I have about five fics lined up that I'm supposed to write. Want to write. WILL write. Ideas, openings, outlines, descriptions.
And yet somehow I can't quite bring myself to do it.
The empty page is terrifying, really. It's just easier not to.

Concerning Questionable Writing Practices

1. Took down short story posted earlier because it is need of major massive editing. I knew this at the time and didn't care. Now I do. Well. Enough to not leave it up.

Totally forgot about this: My Harry Potter Fanfiction. I used to be on mugglenet, but I recall they started being evil. (I don't like FF any better, the format drives me bonkers.) It's 3:21 a.m. and I'm giving up on trying to sleep. So much for my "normal cicadian rhythms." At least, I think cicadian is the right term there. So I'm going to try and be creative. Again.
