Wishing.

Hello everyone! I've really loved doing this for the past two years, so I'm doing it again. =)

Ren's 2006 Wishlist
1 :: Christmas or holiday cards/postcards/snail-mail - I love getting these from all over the world every year, whether they be from New Jersey or Moscow. I usually try to string them up and hang them on my wall. (Thanks to julie709, depine1pssets, and wenchamok!)

2 :: Chocolate/candy/packaged foods from outside the US - Oh man, I love food. And I definitely love sweets, especially chocolate. Just about anything that’s edible will work here, provided it’s packaged and doesn’t contain meat/meat byproducts (suet, beef extract, etc. - milk/eggs and stuff are fine). I’m a semi-vegetarian. (Thanks to doublu!)

3 :: Five things about you/your life/your beliefs/your experiences/etc. - I’d love to have some of these handwritten and sent, but I’ll totally take these by e-mail and/or comments too. There are BILLIONS of people on this Earth, and in your life time you won’t even be able to meet a tiny percentage of them. I’m intrigued by other’s, so if you don’t mind, tell me some things about yourself. (Thanks to delfeus, wenchamok, and naelany!)

4 :: Any of the Harry Potter books in a language other than English/British/Spanish - I collect these because I’m a big nerd, and I’d just really love a copy in any other language. If I had a choice, I’d buy one in Russian because I’d be able to read it, but absolutely any language will do, from French to Ancient Greek. Mass market paperback editions are loved, as are gently used books. (Thanks to rew_silver_wing!)

5 :: SOCKS! Socks! Socks! - Oh my God, I love socks like nothing else, and I really wear them out quickly. x.x’ Knee socks, toe socks, and funky pretty socks are my favorites, but I’d still take a pair of new white socks. Socks are just love.

6 :: Books or book recommendations - They can be about absolutely anything, fiction or non-fiction, as long as they don’t heavily involve ghosts or dead people. Eheh. Vampires work though. I just want interesting and/or entertaining things to read. Gently used things that you don’t want anymore are fine, as long as they aren’t falling apart or are antiques (I have a phobia of old things - don’t ask). (Thanks to wenchamok, sanfuturo, jade_starlight, googlebrat, and hardcasecrime!)

7 :: Lush Products - Like many other people, I’d love to try something from there. I’d really like to try any one of the buttercreams or the Party On Temple Balm, but anything except for deodorant (because I NEED anti-perspirant) would be lovely.

8 :: Music in the form of mp3s, mix CDs, or just recs - I need some new stuff to listen to. I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to music, but I’m not a big fan of most rap or country. (Thanks to cantlivealie, delfeus, jade_starlight, and mypetconcubine!)

9 :: Anything Japanese/Chinese/generally Asian - I think Asia is an intriguing place, and I'd love to have anything in any way related to the continent. Decorations, books, music, collectibles... anything, period. Seriously, send me a recipe for teriyaki chicken if you want to.

10 :: To finish my NaNoWriMo Novel - This one only I can do. (Thanks to my muse <3, the LI NaNoWriMo crew, the entire Character and Plot Realism Q&A forum over at the NaNo site, and everyone who else who helped me get through November; I did it!)

I hope that everyone has a lovely holiday season and gets some wishes fulfilled! Thank you in advance to anyone who can fulfill any of my wishes, or any anyone else’s wishes. =)

E-mail goddessnyx@gmail.com for Contact Info - and I'm in the United States, if that matters.

PLEASE NOTE: Wishes I’m granting will be fulfilled in mid to late December, nearer to the holidays. I will also be thanking all wish granters over at my journal (twilight_nyx), as well as on the holiday_thanks community.
