finally! my first day as a hospital volunteer. not what was promised, but still good. the girl who was supposed to train me was sick, and when the vounteer head tried to get the nurse in tccto do it, butshe was like "um . . . i'm the only nurse on the floor, and i think someone is dying right now." so i was shuffled to an information desk, which ( Read more... )

if i get into speech and debate this semester, do a million or so hours of community service, take maybe three or four classes at a college spring semester or during the summer, take 80 or 70 credits next year(which i have done before), i CAN and WILL graduate next year ( Read more... )

i hate doctors. HATE. almost as much as this one hated me, but not quite.

School starts tomorrow, i'm a little sick with dread. the people there, the classes i'm taking, the failing . . . . it's not my idea of a good time. everything is going to be fine i'm sure, but it's the part between now and fine that i'm worried about. i'm scared because everyone's been coming up and being real nice to me and asking if i'm ok. i ( Read more... )

i'm going home tomorrow, and actually looking forward to it. i know i'll be just as bored, but right now i can pretend everything will perfect when i get back. that's why i love traveling, even going home seems new. i'm bringing back fireworks, i don't know where to set them off. i want soup. odd.

so. today i:
got woken up
was in the rain
went to a mall, where i got a hand massage.

i'm going to repair this old jacket of my Aunts, it will be super hip.
ok then.

sooooooo . . . i took the next step in volunteering at the hospital . . . . i turned in my paper work so now i just have to get some shots and take one or two more training courses, so i'll hopefully get to volunteer when i get back from a trip in July. i found a tin box at hospice today with art work that looks like it could have been done by Mark ( Read more... )
