To say Cole was not a happy camper would be an understatement. Various walls and pieces of furniture had fallen victim to his rage. Books and papers were strewn about the house, part of desperate research attempts to figure out how to expel Phillipa from Phoebe's body. Phoebe had been more than a little relieved that even dead she could still enter her own home. It would have been the last of one too many bad things for her.

According to Phillipa, her soul was getting weaker and she would soon be completely gone -- and unable to protect anyone from her and Anton's machinations.

She had to do something to stop them before she was gone.

When she saw the conditions of things in the house, Phoebe felt tears spring to her eyes.

"Oh Cole..." she said softly.

All she had wanted to do was stop all of this so he wouldn't have to watch her die... and not only had she died, but she had let a terrible evil loose in Milieux.

Not to mention hurting Cole in the process.

"Oh sweetheart... I'm so sorry."

Cole paused momentarily in his pacing. For a moment, it had almost felt like Phoebe was there. But she wasn't, and he frowned and continued to stalk around the house.

She watched Cole pacing and started to walk with him.

"Baby... I wish I could fix this... I wish you could hear me."

Cole paused again. Maybe it was wishful thinking and his imagination was playing tricks on him, but he could swear Phoebe was in the house. He looked around, confused. "Phoebe?" he called.
