According to Phillipa, her soul was getting weaker and she would soon be completely gone -- and unable to protect anyone from her and Anton's machinations.
She had to do something to stop them before she was gone.
When she saw the conditions of things in the house, Phoebe felt tears spring to her eyes.
"Oh Cole..." she said softly.
All she had wanted to do was stop all of this so he wouldn't have to watch her die... and not only had she died, but she had let a terrible evil loose in Milieux.
Not to mention hurting Cole in the process.

The album moved from that picture, to a picture of the two of them together.
She wished she knew where her notebook was so she could tell him who had done this.
