just imagine how season 2 could have played out if this had happened.... Rhys would get a happier ending and maybe everyone else lived and then ...
ah ...if only ... and Tosh as the only female in the team, what fun she could have ...
loved that Ianto flirted with Andy ... love the way you write Ianto and Jack....
as for Gwen? well, she had it coming to her ... messing around with alien tech...coveting what isn't hers ... does it count as Gwen bashing if she ends up spayed and deported? was she wormed and de-flea-ed? ;-)
Love the way Ianto keeps taking charge when dealing with people (especially Andy - what did Ianto get up to with him while Jack was away?), and poor Jack is so stunned by events at first, but he gathers himself together in time to flirt at Rhys (can't say flirt WITH Rhys, as Rhys certainly doesn't seem to appreciate it - I guess there have to be some people immune to Jack's charms!)
Gwen has truly got what she deserves, but at least she's found gainful employment in a job that suits her skills!
well, it's my opinion that during Jack's 'time away' Gwen thought she was in charge, but in reality Ianto was doing all of the work while Tosh and Owen just amused the flat foot.
I love Rhys, he deserves better than Gwen, but he really is completely heterosexual, and completely immune to Jack - which is actually a good thing, Jack has it too easy most of the time, charming people effortlessly, it'll do him good being around someone who's not even remotely interested, even if it does come as a bit of a shock to Jack!
