This time we set up load balancing with a few machines on different campus subnetworks (mathstudentorg, csnet2, and physics), so hopefully our machines remain somewhat functional, if not overly so :-)

So, I just had the last ECON102 lecture with Larry Smith. It reminded me of some of my earlier plans, which I'd put on hold untill I could learn more to do work on them, but now that I think about it, I wonder if thats really necessary. One of the pre-frosh stopped by the CSC and we had an interesting chat about stuff. The guy seems a bit crazy, but I'm not sure if he is crazy enough :-)
I had an interesting discussion with Ian about stuff as well. Overall today has had plenty of interesting discussions :-)

So our new machine was going to be called cthulhu, however it appears that there is allready a computer called cthulhu on campus.

The Computer Science Club (CSClub) has "new" DEC Alphas which are most awesome. Come out, help take them part, put them back together, solder, and eat free food (probably pizza) tonight at midnight.
