I had a dinner party last night. It was good times. A bunch of people came. Mark made delicious drinks. I should do this more often, but I don't really have the time. Real time is a tiny bit concerning (December 3rd seemed so far away). I booked my drivers test for after RT exam. Hopefully I get my license. I found out the team I am on at MSFT. High-tech sucks that way. We are told 'everything is confidential'. So at work, I have to think twice before I forward the lunch menu to a friend. That's right: I have heard people claim that a list of food is confidential. (And if you read the fine print of my NDA, it likely is, though hopefully not explicitly.

On the other hand: Do you want to know exactly how a pulp processing plant works? You can sign up for a PUBLIC tour that wil disclose all the ins and outs.

This is one of the problems that patents are supposed to solve, if everyone knows your business practices then you don't have to keep everything secret since they can just look at the patent and can't copy it without paying you. For some reason in high tech it seems to have failed miserably.
