Open RP in the Great Hall: Pippi is writing and hoping for a bit of company.
Bored. An unusual feeling for Pippi Longstocking. She had tried playing cards with Mr Nilsson, but the monkey wasn’t being very cooperative, the rascal, and was more interested in eating grapes and run around the walls for exercise. So she was sitting in the Great Hall, holding the red quill Sirius had given her, and practising her writing.
Parchment littered the table, and the floor around her. Most of it was stained with ink. Occasionally Mr Nilsson screeched and dove headfirst into a pile of it, chasing his tail excitedly. Pippi also had several ink stains on her dress, her hands, and a smudge on her cheek. One of her braids had started to come undone as well, tendrils of bright carrot-red hair escaping their restraints and falling down her face. But she cared little about that.
With her tongue in the corner of her mouth she carefully made out the letters of the alphabet, certain Tommy and Annika would be very proud of her once she told them of her improvements.
