Closed RP: Housewarming

Laura Palmer looked around her Hufflepuff dorm room with satisfaction.
Up until her return from Sphinx, she'd been reluctant to personalize her living space, subconsciously fearing her new life at Hogwarts would somehow disappear or be taken away from her. Now home with a treecat companion, two pet birds, five tribbles and no student roommates, it was time to make the room her own, and she had. Now it was time to invite over her first guest.
She drafted a quick note and sent her pigeon Hilda off to find Dr. Grant:
Alan,
I've redecorated my quarters. Care to come over to Hufflepuff and help me celebrate? I've still got that bottle of Glenfidditch if you'd like to crack it open.
