Mungojerrie woke up from his quick cat nap in the halls. He still needed to figure out how to write a letter to this 'prefect' girl the sorting hat talked about. Having his own room would be a nice change.

He muttered the password and was allowed into the common room. Bad timing in his part, for just as he walked in he heard the pitter patter of a rat run by.

"Ah, bugger." Mungojerrie cursed, but the door was closed behind him and he would rather not get out again. The common room was the only road to follow now.

Too bad that road was a bumpy one.

Mungojerrie hissed once he spotted Rumpleteazer laying in the corner. However, as much as he would like to be angry at her for all the chaos she created these past few weeks, he felt compelled to attempt a civil approach.

"Tired from all your rompin'?" Well, at least he tried.

She created? He started it!

Rumpleteazer lifts her head. 'I thought you'd be tired from all the bloodloss, or, you know, knackered from visiting a horribly beaten-up kitten in the Hospital Wing,' she spits.

The spitting won't last long. She's too tired for that.

But who got all worked up about some Siamese that didn't mean anything?

Oh yeah, that's right.

Mungojerrie grimaced. His scratches and bruises were healing slowly, but he couldn't imagine what Quaxo must have felt like. Mungojerrie couldn't bring himself to visit the young cat at the Hospital Wing.

"Neither," He answered. "I'm the 'muscle', remember?"

It obviously meant something if he did more than just flirting.

(This is her defence against everything he will or might bring up.)

'All too well,' she replies, wearily standing. 'He didn't stand a chance.'
