((Okay. I emailed Elphaba-mun (even though I looked and didn’t really see anything from her since her application), and Nessa and Galinda don’t have much interaction in musical-canon. Actually, I don’t think they interact at all. So I’m really, really hoping I don’t get in trouble for doing this application. D: *n00b*

Oh, that's right! Nessarose! *knew she recognized the girl* I haven't been here that long, I don't think...but it seems like forever. I miss the people at Shiz sometimes, but it's busy here so I don't really have time for thinking not that I do that often anyway...

Really? What exactly is there to do here, and are said activities terribly different from those at Shiz? I'm hoping that I'll make some friends here, something which I wasn't very capable of in Oz. And yes, Elphaba had told me as much...

There was a slight pause. "May I sit on your lap?"

*such the Cat love* Of course you may! *picks up Quaxo and puts him on her lap* And thank you. My shoes were a gift from my father when I went to my old school, so they're kind of special. They are pretty, though.

Quaxo immediately settled down on Nessa's lap and curled up to make himself comfortable. Soon he began purring contentedly.

"'Kay, I understand you don't want to give them away, then," he said and nodded.

"Um, where do you want to go?"

Thank you. As for where I want to go...I'm not quite sure. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, from what the Doctor said, both sound like houses I'd like, but I haven't really been here long enough to develop much of my own impression of them.

Of course! I was just afraid that somebody was going to steal them or something. I see that my fears were not very well-founded, as the people here have, on the whole, been wonderful.

Hufflepuff? I'm starting to think that Hufflepuff would be a nice change from my old life. And this "no killing" rule is very reassuring. *smiles, only half-joking*

I actually studied a lot of different things at Shiz. It was my first year and I hadn't chosen my specialty yet, like my sister had, so I pretty much just took whatever classes seemed interesting. What kind of classes are available for study here?

"Classes? Oh, all kinds, though they're hardly regular. But there's plenty of things to learn on your own, too. Lots of folks just seem to poke around in the library and learn from one another. It's a bit odd. But nice, really."
