Finding fencing gear at Hogwarts had not exactly been easy -- actually, it had been kind of exasperating. Apparently wizard duels had less to do with swords and masks and more to do with blasting spells at each other. "There's this room I found -- it had a ton of stuff! Cool, huh?" She grinned, straightening up to greet Mokuba with a wave. "I thought you wanted to fence, right? You don't use wooden swords with fencing... that's kendo. See how these bend?" She picked up a foil and bent the tip, which sprang back as soon as she let go.

"But that's what this stuff is for," she added, pointing with the foil towards the jackets and masks. "You put it on like this..." Tugging on her own jacket, she pointed out the fasteners.

"What's up?" Utena moved over to him as he struggled with the jacket. "Do you need a hand?" She laughed, but good-naturedly, pulling the fabric up over his shoulder. "These things are kind of tricky. Mine feels really strange, actually." Still, she couldn't resist ribbing him a little. "You're, what, 14 though?"
