The dome was supposed to be indestructable. Hat magic trumped almost every power known to man or god, here on the Hat's turf.
Yet there was a creature the Hat was known to fear.
The
Canadian Weasley bear.

The bear can be written into your tags as reacting to your attacks, making counterattacks, whatever you like as long as the basic idea of 'this is a terrorbear' doesn't get changed, i.e., don't suddenly have it start singing showtunes and handing out plates of cake.
Dropbears and tree octopi have been within the dome for some time now ever since Yoda Boot Camp. They're sort of like vermin, but arguably cuter, and/or squishier.
Your tags don't have to begin with a number unless they're tags that contain an attack on the Weasley Bear. Characters can discuss or collaborate on tactics before launching attacks if they so choose. ))

"To borrow a phrase from the Earthlings, THIS IS BULLSHIT!" Turlough did the first thing he thought of, ran to the house and yelled to all the other residents that the dome was under attack. He then ran to the kitchen to get something to defend himself.
George had been the first one to get to the bear...and he promptly screamed like a girl.
"SPIDERS!" he shrieked, and climbed up a tree, hoping to avoid them.

Maddie, though, is at her wits end. While climbing a tree isn't usually her first course of action, it seems like a good one, for now, and she follows George.
Then a thought occurs to her. "Spiders can climb!"

Live coverage of the Canadian Weasley Bear attack is being broadcast in the Great Hall.
The front gates are barricaded and guarded by taser-toting house elves.
An assortment of pumpkin tarts, pumpkin confections, and pumpkin juice are being served in the Great Hall throughout. ))

He raised an eyebrow at the Canadian Weasley Bear.
"Hmph. Amateurs."
Nevertheless, he got up to make sure none of the boys were misguided enough to try to leave.

He was to attire himself in his motley Hatsguard cloak and take up guard outside the Hat's chamber door, to defend against imminent danger from something called a Canadian Weasley bear.
Muttering choice curses, Jaime did as he was commanded. It wasn't the first time he'd served a mad monarch. He didn't bother strapping his golden hand to the stump of his arm: the Hatsguard getup was horrible enough without adding what the Hat playfully called his blinghand.
