Ok, this was just weird, even for her. Of all the bizzare places they could have landed, the Doctor landed them smack in the middle of a castle. Figures. His aim was always off when he piloted the TARDIS. It might travel through time and space, but precision was not it's strongest suit.

Donna had the Hat at "pretty stones."

"Let me see these rocks you're going on about," the Hat said.

"They were on sale at the gift shop, I think they were picked up just outside the hotel. They're rare, no one can stand the atmosphere of Midnight."

Donna pulled a handful out of her pocket, It was an assortment of dark blue stones, smooth and shining. Upon closer inspection, they had subtle flecks of silver and almost purple swirls.

"So.. you're a Hat then."

"You're a human, then," the Hat said in reply, picking over the stones with a strap. "How's that working out for you?"

Unable to decide which one it wanted, the Hat took them all.

"I'd say I've done all right. There, you have the stones, now where's the Doctor?"
