I'm getting restless again. It's weird, this place. I am happy here, but there are times I feel trapped by the walls, too. There are times I just want to leave, to vanish and go back to the mafia, but there's too much important to me here. I don't really want to leave, but there are times I want out

Well, as Mello was going down, Soichiro was going up. Or rather, Yukiko was going up and Soichiro was following her. Not the point.

The point was, if someone was going up and another someone was going down, it was inevitable that they would meet.

"Mello," Soichiro said as they approached each other.

Yukiko barked.

Yappy mutt. "Old man," I say. "You've been avoiding me," I say, crossing my arms over my chest. "Find someone else to order you around?"

"That isn't hard to do. Hogwarts is a big place. And you never go into Gryffindor, anyway." He crouched down to scratch Yukiko's ear.

"You didn't answer me," I point out. "Either that's a yes and you don't want to tell me or that's a no and you deliberately came this way after seeing I was here." I lean against the banister. "Why would I go to Gryffindor?"

[cockneysplosive]

"That was good," Basher said to Jing. Clearly he saw the whole thing. "Better than someone I know, even."

[kingbandit]

Jing shrugged. "It was only in his pocket," he said with a 'modest' smile. "Only zipped closed. Not much of a challenge," he added grinning.

[cockneysplosive]

"Now see, the person I know, he's probably just gotten to the point where he can pick from a zipped pocket." Then again, last time they met he ended up taking Rusty's job and posed as Yen's...something, Bash didn't really pay attention.

Jing shrugged. "I wouldn't be worth my title if I couldn't get into zipped pockets."

Still yawning, still not quite awake enough to take his more 'human' form, Kurama trudged down a hallway. Trying to walk around to wake himself up wasn't being very effective. He did smell Jing somewhere nearby, though. He followed the scent to the boy, pausing right before turning the corner for another huge yawn.

Jing saw the fox yawning and looked at it bemused a moment. It had been a while since he'd seen a kitsune in this form, but he did know what it was. The tails and the sleeker form were give-aways. The Herbology professor was a kitsune. This had to be him as Jing didn't know of any others within the castle walls. "Kurama," he said politely enough when the fox stopped yawning.

Kurama shook himself after the yawn, and then fox-grinned up at Jing. "Morning, Jing," he greeted in return. "Enjoying yourself?"

"It's afternoon," Jing pointed out. He squatted, his elbows resting on his knees, hands outstretched. "So, why are you in these clothes?" he asked, waving his fingers at Kurama's fox form.
