There are times I just want to leave, to vanish and go back to the mafia, but there's too much important to me here. I don't really want to leave, but there are times I want out

Well, as Mello was going down, Soichiro was going up. Or rather, Yukiko was going up and Soichiro was following her. Not the point.

The point was, if someone was going up and another someone was going down, it was inevitable that they would meet.

"Mello," Soichiro said as they approached each other.

Yukiko barked.

Yappy mutt. "Old man," I say. "You've been avoiding me," I say, crossing my arms over my chest. "Find someone else to order you around?"

"That isn't hard to do. Hogwarts is a big place. And you never go into Gryffindor, anyway." He crouched down to scratch Yukiko's ear.

[mello_n_choco]

"You didn't answer me," I point out. "Either that's a yes and you don't want to tell me or that's a no and you deliberately came this way after seeing I was here." I lean against the banister. "Why would I go to Gryffindor?"

"I did not deliberately seek you out. And to answer your question, when I'm not off campus I've pretty much stayed in Gryffindor."

[mello_n_choco]

"That was not the question, old man. That was the observation. The question was 'did you find someone else to order you around?'" I raise an eyebrow. "Or, is it your wits are too fuddled to answer simple questions?"

"No I did not find someone else to order me around." Doggie says otherwise. "I've been...busy."

[mello_n_choco]

I smirk. "Sure. Busy. Doing what, old man? Obeying an animal? Or have you taken up other self destructive habits?"

"No," Soichiro said, glaring. "If you must know, Rika and I went to visit our old homes."

[mello_n_choco]

"Rika?" I don't know that name. "So, you found a girl to dominate you?" I ask, using the diminutive to harass him more.

[papayagami]

"She does NOT dominate me!" Soichiro pointedly did not mention the time she forced him in a tutu.

[mello_n_choco]

"You do realize that the louder you deny something, and your lack of denial of other things, is rather telling," I say to him, moving away from the banister. "I knew you were sick, but this is ridiculous."

"You're the sick one, thinking that. I only care about Rika like she was my own daughter." Yukiko by now decided that a nap was in order.

"You're the one who insists that domination has to be anything other than domination, old man. I don't see how this is my 'sickness.'" I look at the dog and roll my eyes. Obviously, it thinks this is going to take a while.

"SHE DOES NOT DOMINATE ME!" Yukiko knows her master well.

I smirk. "Of course," I say blandly. "And you're not screaming at me now. Old man, you're in denial, even still. Why do you continue to keep playing these games? You think you's be bored of them by now?"
