[[The features were far too delicate for most males, yet still within the realm of androgyny. Soooo, pretty much every bishonen character in anime?]]

But I already took a nap!

((Only, really a girl this time))

"I didn't be askin'..." The girl stopped mid-sentence. "Ye...ye said that?" she asked, pointing and backing away slightly.

"They be namin' th' hounds o' hell now?" she asks, still backing away. "I'll be havin' no truck wi' ye, demon!"

"Who is Old Nick?" asked the Chatelaine softly. "And is the gift of sleep truly within your keeping?"

"Land 'o," Colleen exclaims. "Ye ain' be hearin' o' the Devil 'imself?" she demands. Then, suspecting this might be a trap, as this is a very tall woman...with rather unusual eyes. A demoness, she's sure now. "But, then, ye would be denyin' him, jes' to be testin' me.

"O' course sleep is within my keeping," she declares with barely a breath's pause. "I am the Incarnation o' Sleep." She holds her ground though she wants to shrink away, her hand touching the pouch at her hip.

"I have heard of devils." Thecla's speech was still soft, still restrained, despite the other woman's vehemence. "Erebus beneath the earth, Abaia spanning the abyssal depths of the sea and, some sages say, also those of the larger ocean that blankets and swathes the stars. I believe they are real, for I have seen the brides of Abaia, and my other self has rested in one's hand. All this I can and do affirm." A fold of her tattered white gown twisted between the Chatelaine's restless fingers, this fidgeting the most open sign of her unease as she spoke otherwise calmly.

"Never has a devil named Old Nick been named in any page of any book I read in my captivity, nor have any of the Autarch's subjects spoken to him of them, while I indwelt in him. I cannot deny or affirm the existence of one whom I do not know." She took a deep breath. "More pressing to me is your gift, which I have long missed."

"Wives 'o..." she says, appalled and visibly more pale at this thought. She shook her head, backing away, unable to stand her ground anymore. "I'll not be sharin' with any demoness or devil's wife!" she declared, shaking visibly.

The red robed wizard entered the sorting room, his oddly shaped eyes taking in the application, and then the figure before him.
Strange. She appeared human, but even with his cursed vision she did not age.

"Lady Sleep, there is no escape from this room, regardless of your magic," he rasped. "At least until the Hat appears."

Colleen clutched at her chest and squeaked. The red robes were ominous. She shook her head, her hair flying around her head. "That canna be. There mus' be a way out." 'Hat' sounded even worse than this man looked. "Incarnations cannot be stayed in their own bailiwick," she declared, her accent easing as she was obviously quoting.

A small smirk curled his lips. "I have seen many strange things since my arrival here and I do assure you, there is no way out. For any of us. While I have never met the incarnation of sleep, the spell I was taught to invoke sleep has proven quite useful in the past."

The smirk caused Colleen to swallow hard, tightening her arms around herself. "A spell of Black magic that weighs your soul down," she said, her voice sounding much more sure than she looked. Though she knew there were White magic spells for sleep, this person could not be a user of them, not the way he looked. He looked like a Magician, if not a demon, and all Magicians used Black magic.

"It was just a hypothetical question..." Mio said in regard to the bar question. Juan Pollo was in her arms, napping.

"Hypothe...tical?" Colleen repeated. "An', I'll not be 'hypothetically goin' to Hell," she declared Though, Hell was now using children? The Devil had no sense of propriety!

"But...this isn't hell. This is Hogwarts. It's a school."

And the mun regrets yet again not going for the non-canon ending

"A school? An', jus' what ye be learnin' here?" she asks. She, as of yet, feels sorry for the poor child, becoming a victim of deceit so young.

Zelgadiss frowned. "Old Nick? Who is Old Nick?"

Colleen turned and screamed, loud and long. She tried to get through the wall backwards again. "Demon!" she screeched, pointing at the newcomer.

"Only part demon, and not by choice. Relax, I'm not going to hurt you."

The 'only part' didn't register. How could a creature be 'only part' infernal creature. And, the 'not by choice' didn't help her, either. "Ye jus' be sayin' that. As soon as I be droppin' my guard, ye be after me," she said, still trying to get through the wall, though the method now seems to be shaking through it.
