After the first thousand years or so, Kurama found a way to control exhausting emotions like rage and hate and the like. Most of the time, he could cool down after a moment, probably following some bit of vengeful destruction, and move on.
Sometimes, however, it took more than just a little vengeful destruction.

It took him only a few paces to be able to smell the lingering odor of gunpowder, and feel the residual crawl of Karasu's youki. A feeling of dread crawled into Kurama's stomach and settled there.
"Kusuriyuri..." He held out his hands to his lover, eyes intent to find where Karasu had hurt him, terrified that he'd been hurt more than he was showing.

Amaterasu got up and padded in, curiously sniffing at the plethora of plant life that littered the ground. She knew it probably wasn't her place to mend that damage, though she was sorely tempted to.

"Though since there isn't much of a clamor to learn plant magic, I only use this and greenhouse one for actual classes. Three is where I keep more dangerous plants, and four is for growing experiments and hanging out to drink tea. Five, six, and seven are still in repair from the last teacher."
