Mr. Bond,

Enclosed is a picture of the creature in question. It's a trilobite, Dicranurus monstrosus. The specimen I've already seen at Hogwarts is a good 2 inches in length. That's fairly large; you may see smaller, if you see any at all.

I've been informed that at least one was sighted on the second floor of the castle, near a disused restroom.

I appreciate your assistance. Not everyone makes good on his or her Sorting bribes.
