Open RP: Dealing

L has been out of sight since it happened. He finally reemerges, no more unkempt than usual, barefoot and smoking one of Matt's cigarettes as he moves boxes. He's getting the things he can stand to pack away into a spare room, on the other side of Ravenclaw where he isn't tempted to sit and go through them.

He looks calm. But, well, he's moving

It's Ryuuzaki and he's moving things. Simon can move things.

"Need a hand?"

"Simon. Certainly." Pausing, to let him take the top box.

"There's a few more in my room after these, but almost finished."

Simon notes the pause, infers the intent, takes the box. He's well-built under those sweater vests and button-down shirts, and he's perfectly happy to assist with any heavy lifting. "I'm almost disappointed you're almost finished. It's nice to see something I can actually help with." It's true. Simon needs to be helping people in some way, small or large. "Where are these going?"

These are relatively light. They're just some spare clothes.

"Just to a spare room. I need them out of the way. Here." With only one box, he can shift it onto his hip, and crush out the cigarette in the ashtray on the bar in the common room.

Kusuriyuri is returning to his room from his office when he sees Ryuuzaki. That he has not seen him in a while is not as much of a concern as the boxes he is carrying and the air of misery around him. "Is something disturbing you?" he asks softly, not entirely sure how to approach the boy.

"You haven't heard?"

Pausing, looking a little bothered to have to be the one explaining it.

"Matt is popcorn."

[edomedpeddler]

Kusuriyuri paused. "I had not heard. I am sorry. Is there anything that this one can do for you?" The request is soft, formal.

"Do you know anything about taking care of dogs?"

Medicine seller, and everything.

"I'm worried about Koopa."

[papayagami]

A pair of hands reached out for the next box.

Soichiro eyed L with sadness and a little bit of curiosity. Did Matt's popcorning hit him THAT hard?

"Mr Yagami. Don't feel obliged-" offering it to him anyways.

He shook his head. "It's the least I could do. I knew Matt, too, and I considered him a friend." Or at least a death-buddy.

[ijk_mno]

"Thank you. Moving boxes isn't really- well, thank you."

He won't complain too much.

"I wasn't aware you knew each other."

[red_eyed_l]

That B did not know how to properly restrain a cat was obvious. What he's using is a rope around Beyond's body, the other end tied to the couch leg. Beyond was passed out anyway.

B looked over the back of the couch at L moving stuff.

"Hello, you." Low, and to the cat. "You're settling in well, to this form? Is there anything you need that isn't being provided?"

The cat half was asleep, worn out from scratching.

B shook his head. "Mean B is being punished. Mean B made Matt go away."

Honestly, B thought he was partially at fault too, but he could sense that L wouldn't take that well. That's why he's hiding behind the couch, hiding the scratches on his arms from his feline half.

"Mean B had nothing to do with it, Beyond."

Perplexed, quiet.

"What makes you say that?"

[woocha]

Wishbone did not know Matt was popcorn yet. So when he came into Ravenclaw, he was his usual merry self.

Hi, Ryuzaki!

(This was long after B and mean B disappeared, otherwise there'd be a brawl)

"Wishbone."

In a 'not a good time to chat' voice.

Wishbone couldn't pick up on tone, but he did know body language. And he saw that boxes were being moved. As a dog, Wishbone didn't like change.

Is...is something wrong?

"Do you know the popcorning system, Wishbone?"

Calm, and a little distant.
