"Yes, if you're squibbed, you get to go back. All our votes don't matter though, in the end, the Sorting Hat decides if you're squibbed or not."

"What makes the Sorting Hat decide whether or not to squib a person then?"

Ofdensen shrugged. "Lack of a satisfactory bribe or he didn't like one of your answers, I suppose. I hardly know of anyone that was turned away."

"I do not have anything to bribe the Sorting Hat with," she smiles despite the man telling her that her chances of leaving soon are slim. Fate has always been about going against the odds, so she is not discouraged by this world's difficulty to escape.

B let out a cry of alarm. Another person! With small numbers!

Beyond did not care, he just chewed at the booties still on his feet.

"Is there something the matter?" she asks confused.

There doen't seem to be anything around to be scared of after all.

"You...your numbers...you're going to die soon!"

Beyond looked up. He was right, the last time he saw numbers that low was about an hour before A's suicide. He went back to his chewing.

"Mi..." going to die soon? Does that mean 'that Rika' is not dead yet? It could explain why she has been placed into this different world without Hanyuu. "How would you know when I am going to die?"

"Let's find out what happens if a person is squibbed."

Shego heard a squeaky little voice in the antechamber, and peered around the doorway. She made a face at the pile of cute she found there - it made her gorge rise.

"Can I vote for whatever gets you out of here and away from me the fastest? 'Cause I like that option."

"Someone has told me that it doesn't matter what other people vote, it's all up to somthing called The Sorting Hat to decide. You could try anyway, even if it does amount to nothing in the end," she giggles.

"A squib is a person without magic, who does not belong at this school. You see, this is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," explained the kindly old grandpa-type man in the gaudy purple robes and the high-heeled buckled boots. "I used to be the headmaster, and I can assure you nothing bad will happen to you if you are squibbed. You will simply be asked to leave, that's all. It's all up to the Sorting Hat, in the end; but personally, I believe you will be asked to stay."

He smiled a reassuring grandfatherly smile.

"How does a person return home?" Since she was asleep before she was at Hogwarts, it doesn't occur to her to wonder how she showed up in the first place.

"That I am afraid I cannot answer," Dumbledore said gravely, regretfully. "If you are squibbed, the school will return you the same way it brought you here, I believe. If you are asked to stay, travel will be up to you, whatever methods you may have at your disposal."

He hated to tell these children such things so soon. To sweeten the news, he produced a small box of candy. "Would you like a lemon drop?"

Without Hanyuu, and if not squibbed, it would be difficult to return where she is needed, and it would do no good to die here. Suicide is not an option, even if things will turn for the worst.

Giving candy to children is a custom in her village so Rika smiles and cheerfully says, "Yes, please," as she would if she even had to ask the adults back home for some. It may not be her favorite strawberry milk flavored candy or her prefered hot and spicy foods, but it is still alright to have a little bit of candy.
