As "to the death" was not an option, Selvetarm seemed ready to substitute "to the agony," judging by his shout as he realized who was responsible.
Jezz, over at the Slytherin table, buried his face in his arms, thinking it inadvisable to chuckle in the presence of what looked to be a rather unhappy lot.
Mentok did not notice Selvetarm's shout, no doubt because others were shouting, and also because he's still talking. "I'm Mentok the Mindtaker, Slytherin. If you're still in the wrong body, I'm over there." He pointed to a corner, then quickly poofed there.
The stream of half-comprehensible language that continued on the dash to the corner, his sword and mace out, was to the effect that he'd show Mentok a "wrong body" step by step.
"Mindtaking?" Kusuriyuri murmurs, relieved to find himself within his own body, with his own powers in tact. "If you do not mind, could you explain it to me?" A or Matt may be able to tell that he is a touch on the irate side.
"Is that so?" The ease, the carelessness of the answer did nothing to help calm Kusuriyuri's temper. "So, then, you can cause people to feel as though they are in other bodies, then?"
