Well, this whole place was going to the dogs. Honestly, so many humans bumping around the place. Not that he didn't like humans. He did. Absolutely. You just didn't get better sex than an eager mortal. But for the most part, the short sighted people running around the castle were boring, fixated on their own petty little affairs and not nearly interesting enough to hold his attention.
It was dreadfully hard to be him, sometimes.
So Robin was out wandering in the woods. It was a good forest, here. Old. Established. Soaked in the magic and history of the castle. Much more entertaining than some of the things happening up at the castle. He'd just returned after a business trip and was taking his time getting reacclimated.
And here was a great way to get back in the swing of things. And a lovely diversion to boot. The lovely Detective Reese jogging along. She looked like she could use some company

Growing up around cops, and a member of the LAPD for six years herself, Dani's senses were trained enough to know something...annoying was about to happen.
Robin was that something annoying. Princess? Dani couldn't help but grimace, which was the only hint she'd given that she understood what he was saying. Farsi...just wasn't something Dani spoke conversationally. It was something whispered to her mother, before her father would get home from work. Speaking it out in the open when there were other options present made her uncomfortable.
Of course, with Dani, discomfort quickly transformed into distaste.
Robin and Dani's exchange at her sorting had been brief, and she was just fine with a repeat performance.
"I already told you," Dani said, without missing a beat. "I speak english. That's what I hold conversations in."
Peace said, Dani sped up her pace, fully intending to leave Robin behind. The guy was in loafers - no contest.
