The Edge of the Forest ((Closed RP))
So, this place was pretty fucking weird.
After her sorting, Dani had taken to walking around the castle, trying to get a sense of what had happened, and avoiding extended interaction with...well, anyone. Outside of her sorting - which had included arresting a puppet for possession and a interrogating a red head with a cop phobia - her limited interaction with the student body had consisted of a proposition, and occasionally listening to radio broadcasts.
So, yeah. Based on circumstantial evidence, there was not a hell of a lot of incentive to get out there and mingle.
Instead, she did a lot of exercising, a lot of reading, and even more exercising. It was partially a withdrawal thing, partially a boredom thing. Mostly though, it was a getting the hell out of Castlevania thing.
So there Dani was, running along, decked out in winter work out gear, which she was still getting used to. It wasn't below freezing anymore, but Dani was born and raised in Los Angeles, so anytime the temperature dipped below sixty, she had a hard time getting out from under the covers.
The alternative was to stay in bed all day, though, which her nerves couldn't take. So running it was. For a chance of pace, she was going along the perimeter of the forest, with no real plans to go inside.
Nature pretty much gave Dani hives.
