Return owl, bearing a note and a picture. Not warded because Nemo doesn't know how. nemofound March 10 2007, 20:18:44 UTC
Hi Pippi! I am glad you baked biscuits for it not to be your birthday. Thank you for all the wonderful yummy biscuits. I like the ginger snaps best, but Furryfurrysoft likes the coconut oatmeal ones and Domino likes the chocolate chip ones and my new kitty Orca likes the cinnamon stars. But really I like them all!
Here is a picture I drew of my kitty Orca. He is black and white like an orca whale. In the picture he is jumping. He likes to jump. I like to drag a string for him to chase.
Your friend, Nemo

((The owl is also carrying a picture.))

Return owl, unwarded but extremely full. pippithepirate March 10 2007, 21:09:06 UTC
In a fairly generic handwriting, as Pippi asked a House-elf to take dictation for her. She's all tired from baking to write letters.
Hi Nemo!
You're welcome. I thought it's so boring that people only eat biscuits when they have nothing to celebrate. Why can't people have them just because they happen to have a bunch of biscuits lying about? That's what I'd like to know. I'm glad you like them, and if you want I'll bake you more.

Thank you lots for the picture! It's hanging above my bed now.

Bye from Pippi!

(Mr. Quackers is also carrying a package containing a soft leather wand holster, to be worn much like a scabbard.)

Pippi ~

Happy not-birthday!

And thank you so much for the biscuits! They're delicious. You're quite the cook! I had to share with Phillip, Steeler, Agrippa, and Mr. Quackers - who all send their thanks, as well.

In celebration of you holding onto the ripe old age of nine, perhaps you'd join Sirius and I for a day out at Hogsmeade? You could even help me make a picnic lunch for the three of us, show off your kitchen prowess.

Mr. Quackers returns (triumphant!), unwarded but munching on a biscuit. pippithepirate March 10 2007, 22:07:40 UTC
In the neat handwriting of a House-elf. Who has the energy to try and string letters together when one has been baking for most of the day?

Hi Lily!
You're welcome! I figured that it's boring to only eat biscuits when there's a party, so I made someone. But then I made too many. It happens sometimes. Glad you liked them!

Yes! I would like that very much. I make good sandwiches too, you know. And pancakes. Can flip them in the air and everything. We'd have to be careful, though, or Mr. Nilsson will eat them all. When should we do it?

Bye from Pippi!

Pippi ~

I always tend to make too much food. Luckily, Sirius loves to eat, and he doesn't mind my cooking, so it all works out.

Excellent! How would this Tuesday strike your fancy? You can swing round the kitchens and help me put together a lunch, and then we'll make Sirius carry the basket for us. And I think pancakes are a smashing idea. You can teach me how to flip them. Perhaps we'll make monkey-sized ones just for Mr. Nilsson, so he won't be tempted to eat ours, yeah?

Love,

~ Lily

Mr. Nilsson, back from Brice's tender mercies, accompanies Mr. Quackers back with Pippi's reply. pippithepirate March 10 2007, 23:01:04 UTC
Lily,

Good! We're all set, then, ha ha.

Tuesday sounds good. I can bring the frying pan that makes small pancakes. Should be just the right size to make monkey pancakes! But knowing him, he'll steal ours anyway, or at least step on them. He's very rude. I don't know what I should do with him, honestly.

Bye from Pippi!

Hi Pippi! Thank you for the cookies, they're really, really, really, really good. Moofy likes them too. ((as if to prove this, there are a few smudged, chocolatey pawprints in the middle of the letter.)) Especially the chocolate chip ones.

Happy unbirthday? not-a-birthday? regular-day? Not-Birthday!

Hi Squee!

I'm glad you like them! If you want more, just let me know. I can make more real easy. With chocolate.

Thank you for the drawing! I'm going to put it over my bed. Mr. Nilsson says it looks just like him.

Bye from Pippi!

((Ha ha. You my bitch. ;)))

Pippi,

We should celebrate being nine all the time. It is a very good age to be.

I like the chocolate ones best of all.

Lots of love,

((Kinky! Where's the riding crop? Curious minds must know. =P And also: Bwahahaha, terrribly sorry, let me try again with the correct journal this time. XD))

Rose,

It's the best one. I think I'm going to stay nine forever. It's possible, you know! I got these pills once from an old native chief, and he tod me that the only thing you have to do to make sure that you'll never ever grow up is to take them when it's almost dark out and say a rhyme. And then you can be a kid forever. I say it sounds appealing.

Glad you like them! I can make more, if you want.

Bye from Pippi!

Brice--

I just want to say how fiercely I'm resisting the impulse to tease. I never pegged you as a cook. Did you wear an apron? Don't want to ruin one of your hundreds of Astral Garbage tops, after all... I kid, I kid. By the way, if you even try and take these back, I'll fight you. These are incredibly delish.

Mel,

I warned you, sweetheart. For your information, I didn't actually make them. I just happened to come across some girl who had baked loads. I helped her out with writing letters for her friends and got two baskets for my trouble. And I sent you one because I knew that you would never tease me and you'd still refer to me as a bad boy.

Really, now my heart is broken. I may never forgive you. [sad stick-figure]

Love, Brice.

Brice!

Now now, don't be vexed or sad or cry. Because that would ruin your image even more.

I want you to be like this: [joyful stick figure--let's call him 'Mr. Sticky'] on the inside but you wanna be [Moody Mr. Sticky] on the outside.

But you have to admit--helping a little girl write letters? Dude, you are SUCH a good angel.

I am suitably chastised. Look, I'm crying. Angelic tear ---> (shimmery glitter-ink drop)

Mel,

Okay, fine. I shall cry only one perfect angel tear, and then I shall bravely carry on. Like the sensitive yet extremely macho guy that I am. [Mr. Sticky with sunglasses and a smirk.]

Yeah, yeah... Go ahead and rub my face in it, babe. You know I'm hardcore at heart.

Love, Brice.
