I have been called detatched, or dejected before. And I think I can tell you where that comes from. I almost never cry, also. Most of the times that I have cried have been because of my mother, father or the Anne Frank movie/ that scene in the Lord of the Rings the return of the King when faramir is riding in to battle. Mostly my mother, though. It isn't like that any more (with my mother--I still cry during LOTR), but I feel so badly that it is for you. I want to give you a hug! And, ditto to everything Josh said.

*hugs miranda*

I was about to call you, but then realized that it was 11:15, so you probably aren't awake, and I don't want to wake you up...

You will definitely leave Texas. Any college that cannot appreciate your creativity and intelligence is not worth your time.

*gives miranda her 50th hug today* miranda, whether anyone chooses to see it or not - i think you know who im talking about - you're a smart cookie. as cliche as it may sound, grades aren't everything. they dont define a person, and they certainly don't define intelligence. i think colleges got that down pat - y else would so many turn down so many of them academic "athletes"?? and let me tell ya honey, lol, i don't think grades hold a candle to the kind of creativity and intelligence you have, so in saying so, my final advice to you is to start packin' ur bags...right now! i don't think you'll be "messin with texas" too much after high school, lol...get it, get it? ;)
