Job Search
well, I'm starting to reap what I sowed by quitting my job. Haven't found gainful employment yet, and I'm starting to worry if I might need to lose my facial hair (which I'm trying to save for future convention cosplay opportunities) in order to get some work. RPG ideas and the creative wall
A while back I was chatting with Kari, and the idea of joke weapons came up. I'm talking about in Final Fantasy-style RPGS, where the spear-wielder is given a broom or mop to fight with - jumprope nunchucks, wooden swords, that sort of thing.

I knew it was coming
I knew it, I knew it! I wasn't sure if it was gonna be zombies or aliens or a horde of maneating gerbils, but I knew the end of the world was coming.
It's a good thing my folks set up this bunker down in our basement. I've got fresh water, a good thick door between me and the infectious masses, and all the funyuns and deer jerky I can eat.

Updating
Well, I've been ordered to post to LJ more often, so...
I'm keeping myself busy - got an appointment tomorrow with my old boss from this summer, and I'm also waiting on news from the company Kari used to work for, seeing if they might wind up hiring me. This whole "real world" thing is harder than it seems!
