My paid account expires on the 14th-15th something like that. Sadface for me. I am not sure if I'll have the money to buy another plus extra user pics

The thing is though, the vision/look/style for my store is the large chunk of audience that is already being overlooked by the rest of Gig Harbor. I want it to be a 'hardcore' look because that is the one thing GH doesn't have at all. There are PLENTY of stores in town that can hit other people. Even Target can handle the rest.
Ty for the money info though. Will definitely keep all that in mind and work on it! <3
Yeah I'm sure Jenny would be more then willing to help out, she sounds like it at least. And Marge, the owner-lady I work with at Imagine, is way helpful too.
And if there was a business pt 2 to the class I'm taking I'm sure I'd take that also lol. But yeah, I will deff be looking out for other classes.
I think...that a person starting a business should have more education than just going to other people for advice/help. Especially in this climate. Businesses don't work because "the person fought for it to succeed". I also don't think it should be hastily done. I worked for a small company for a year that failed a little past Christmas this year because that's what it's like in America right now. We didn't fail because we didn't try hard enough, we failed because we couldn't turn a profit. That's how it is right now. Taking a single class on how to start a business and hoping people with past experience will do the work for you/teach you isn't a wise career choice. That's why people go to school to get an education.
If I were Heather, I'd go to business school and learn more than just what you could learn from a "simple" class -- also, going to a college would be a good way to ride out the recession.
Why anyone is planning on starting a business when a huge chunk of the population is failing confuses me.
I feel like all your comments on this have been snippy and pushy about going to school. I'm reading all of them, I'm taking it all into mental notes, and maybe I'm just reading them all wrong, but if all you're going to do is say how wrong all my ideas and attempts are, I would rather have you not comment at all. (run-on sentence x.x)
And if my parents don't have the money to drop 3-5k for me to go to NZ, then I have a feeling they wouldn't have the +K to send me to a college. Which I may as well just do in NZ anyway and stay and work there, since that's where I would like to end up and live at anyway.
Also, I feel like my idea, where it is, and despite the timing of it, is still a good idea because it's the one thing 1/3ish of the population of GH is in the way of style, and the one thing the city doesn't have. People would come to this, and Jenny said that all her money came in over the summer, and it lasted her through the slow winter. She was successful in her business.
I don't really want to have hand created pieces to sell, because I'm sure it would sell for a lot of money, and kids don't have that. I'm trying to get my merch under the average Hot Topic price to attract people to the store more then HT would.
Upon applying for a business license, you have to submit your business name, and it gives you a link to check to see if someone else has the name or not. Alt Wear was already taken, Attire wasn't, I got another suggestion which I have yet to check on, but yeah. The website for applying is nice and helps out on there being no TM infringements.
Lmao you're welcome :) I thought about that as I was typing.

That's not really the same thing as college.
