(no subject)
My paid account expires on the 14th-15th something like that. Sadface for me. I am not sure if I'll have the money to buy another plus extra user pics.
I have not posted an LJ in almost a month. Who has missed me? Who has noticed? Nothing has really happened for me to post anything about. However that is why I am posting now.
Remember an older entry when I mentioned about starting up a little Hot Topic-esque store. Well I'm getting closer to actually doing it. I found the place I want to put it in. I met the people who own the place (property manager, landlord, previous store owner [Jenny] - three different people), and actually got a spare set of keys into the place from Jenny, so I could show parents and get advice. :)
The first thing I have to do, as everyone is telling me, is get a business license. So I went into looking for one, filled out everything they asked, and learned it is $40. Which I technically could have, but would leave me with nothing. Maybe next paycheck I'll invest in it, but that would be my entire check...
I was also told by Jenny to get a Business credit card. I went to the back today to check into it, just basic info on it all, but they told me I need the license first, and the fact that I have 0 credit would make it harder for me to apply for one. If I have 0 credit, then get bad credit with this, then it would put me in a hole.
Without the business card though, I can't really buy what I need for the store (register stuff, display items, merchandise, etc).
Also, the next biggest thing is a store name. I know I want an A in there, so I can have logos and stuff with the anarchy A symbol. Something like.. Alternative Wear, Alt Attire, something like that..
Which is why I am posting all this. Does anyone have a similar sort of catchy name that would be good for my store? Remember it's like Hot Topic in the sense of it being that dark, alternative, punky, music oriented sort of scene.
Pleeease comment if you have a store name idea. Or if you have any new/gently used merch you'd be willing to sell or give me for free (shirts, belts, stickers, patches, whatever) oorrrr if you'd like to donate to me in order to get the money I need for all my essentials xD I'm pretty serious on this, and I would love to do it. The only thing holding me back is money.
