Ori Ships Everyone

I like to believe that because Ori is the scribe he is much more well read than most of the company. So he'll have read some romance books at some point right?
I just want him to be adorably into that sort of thing and him spending his time mentally pairing off the rest of the company into his preferred ships.

+10000000000000000000000000000 internets for him secretly writing fanfiction about it.

Basically I kinda want him to be one of us

Hey, if we're going on about propriety Ori won't even start about how Fili and Kili are in fact brothers, but shut up because they need each other. You don't understand them like Ori does.

this is my first hobbit drabble so um yep. also I have no idea how to work LJ. Ori had always been the quiet one, the one who would rather listen than talk, and even on the rare occasion that he did have an outburst he was often met with laughter from the other dwarves. It was these qualities that made him a perfect candidate to be the scribe for the company. As a dwarfling he had loved books and read anything he could get his hands on; even the romance tales from men. Though he would deny it in front of the rest of the dwarves, those tales were always his favourite

This is incredibly cute, and though the shipping references are great, my personal favorite line ist definitely 'Knitting lost'. Laughing tears here.

Laughing tears? SCORE. I could definitely see Ori being asked to recount the quest and have him focus completely on his knitting progress/writing/sketching with little asides of "Of course this is while we were being held in Thranduil's dungeons. Horrible light. I can't tell you how many dropped stitches I had."
