Yeah, you know that at least one of those characters, I only play with your version, basically.
And, uh. Hi, Clay.
Puppy over there kind of waves at his alpha...
Reply
Yes, I'm aware. It makes him all the more special to me.
Hello, Cougar. Coffee?
The pup gets extra bacon this morning.
Reply
<3 :)
*amused* He's curious if he's allowed to get up to get it...
Awww! *eyes the moon* I think they all should get extra bacon this morning.

Mmm, early morning love.
No, but he can sit up by himself to drink it.
That's why. Big breakfasts for everyone!
Reply
Heee!!
Pout. Ish. But coffee is a yes, anyway.
Yes. He's fine with that, really. He'll help clear the dishes!
Reply
Then coffee Cougar shall have, along with questions about how he's doing and a health check to gauge his progress. It's a busy morning for Clay.
He's a good pup.

He's healing. Wounds are mending, not as quickly as he'd want them to, but they are. No infection, which means the rest is a question of time. Not that he likes sitting/lying down, but still. Much better than complications. (Also, I'm tooootally considering coming up with/snagging some of the comics about how he came to become silent. Apparently it's torture-Cougar month.)
... and he'd be wagging his tale, there.

In a few weeks, Clay will consider letting him out of bed for some light exercise. (How much of the Pass are we talking here? Well, May's a good month for it.)
Good pup. *head pat*

o.O Weeks? But but... that's more than for a broken bone! :-P (Mmm the downstairs incident, except extended in time, not just in and out. Still considering it.)
Reply
He was shot twice. Weeks, unless Clay sees more improvement than he's expected. That fits a bit. Will he be with the Losers or with a previous unit?
Reply
Twice but not at the same place! The two wounds don't add up in time for recovery, they're healing simultaneously! ... if he sticks Coug in bed for weeks, he'll then lose MORE weeks to get him back in shape. He says ... ten days, maybe one or two more, before starting to move around. Not practice yet, but move?
And, with the Losers. *wry* or he'd never had been extracted.
Reply
Ten days from now, Clay will check him over and if he thinks he's good he'll let him up to move around. No heavy lifting or any sparring. Okay, just keeping up so Clay can have the same experiences. :D
Reply
... that works. Reasonable and not wasteful. And he knows, just about now he's really feeling both shots, partly because the lesser bruises and scrapes are gone so there's less to distract him.
*nods* I'll probably put up a post for the plotting for everybody's input before actually writing anything, because, yeah. A teem needs to be on the same page.
Reply
Clay knows he's getting anxious and can be reasonable. He's going to make sure Cougar stays reasonable too.
Okay. Now we just need to advance the Max thing too.
Reply
*sighs, nods* Stupid wounds. Cougar's not happy about having gotten them. Although he likes them better than the alternative of him or Aisha or both not making it out, so. *amused* He knows how to shut up about small stuff. For a relative value of small.
... I do need to point out that it'd possibly need to wait until Coug's back into shape. They're not going to attack an enemy stronghold when they're a man short.
