Resolution to Impeach George Bush Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
If I am interpreting the Current House Floor Proceedings correctly, the resolution on "Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors." (H. Res. 1258), by a vote of 251 to 166 with 16 abstentions, has been "Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary." As I understand it, this is the same thing that ( Read more... ) -

Right now, on C-Span, the resolution to impeach President George W. Bush is being read (by the House Clerk) into the record (again), and the ticker is asserting that:
"A vote on this resolution may take place on Wednesday."

Remission!
I just got a call from my dad, who had an appointment with his oncologist to get the results of his recent scan. The doctor says the cancer is in remission!
