Ack! Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time! I loved your Amanda. She kept her wits about her in really difficult and unfortunate situation with no easy way out. Naturally she'd take a bow after coming back to life! haha. Hope she continues to keep her head! Good work. :) Interesting and different.

Well that's a pickle of a situation for Amanda! Of course, we know that she usually lands on her feet, like all good cats.

And Amanda's first instinct for showmanship turns out to be on the right track after all…smile, indeed!

Very nicely turned!

Great title, innovative plot, pleasant surprise use of Amy Thomas. Amanda trying to pass off returning from the dead as something between stage magic and performance art is as natural to her as it is appalling to everyone else.

In canon, the length of time for which an immortal stays dead before reviving is always measured solely by the needs of the current plot: the rhyme and reason of CPD. :-) The potential inconveniences of a too-quick revival were rarely touched on-screen.

I do wonder what happens next...

Thank you for sharing!

I do love that Amanda got up and bowed :) That's our Amanda, quick thinking. I do have a thing for stories about immortal exposure. But I don't want Amanda to be the test case -- too scary and dangerous. We mortals don't have a good track record.
