I love every single thing about this. I love them conspiring, I love Ceirdwyn passing on her wisdom, I lovelovelove Cory luring Matthew into a chase, I love Cory's motives for the theft of the painting, I love that the boys walked back together, I adore the mental image of Ceirdwyn in a Christmas shirt with reindeer antler headband, and I overflow with warm fuzzies at the conclusion. This story is entirely satisfying, like turkey dinner with the family. ;3

The amount of time I spent on the Highlander wiki trying to figure out dates and relationships of your characters SHALL NOT BE DISCUSSED. I had such a great time putting the story together since I've never written a heist before, much less a reverse heist. I'm so glad you liked it.

Brrr! Hypothermia might not be the worst way to die, but I'm still shivering :) Fun to see Cory and Ceirdwyn go above and beyond to pull Matthew out of the Bah, Humbug Holiday Blues.

Thank you! I think he planned everything except the actual day, which the weather planned for him. And the falling through the ice part. I'm pretty sure he didn't plan that. Then again, with him you never really know.
